About
Who is Tim?

I see myself as a guide who has been there, done that.
I’ve felt like a failure, and I’ve let go of many of the things others associate with “success,” and I have the scars to show it.
In therapy, I can guide you, direct you, make you laugh, or slap you upside the head with opinion — and most importantly, listen to your story as you tell it as precisely or messily as you need to. I provide a supportive and loving presence and embrace and fully accept the person you really are.
The story’s not over yet. You have the opportunity to choose how to write the next chapter, and the one after that, and the one after that.
My Approach
With hope, humor and compassion, I take a systems approach to life. The systems you were raised in and grew up in shape and can determine your life, and we will explore how they’ve influenced you. Reframing your experience will give you a vision of why and how you can do something different.
I gently ask you questions to uncover the truth, and allow you the time and space to do so. Sometimes I will be more or less directive, but always gentle and always in support of your best self, no matter what side of you comes forward.
